PRIVY COUNCIL - COURT OF FINAL APPEAL BY SPCA & METAXIDES

Summary of Appeal to Privy Council (the highest court, like the Supreme Court in the US):

SPCA was granted leave to file an Appeal with the Privy Council in England, "as of right", while Metaxides was denied leave to appeal.  Metaxides is now taking his request for leave to the Privy Council for "special leave", claiming this matter is of great public importance.

If SPCA and Metaxides are successful, the matter will return to the Court of Appeals to continue arguing the remaining 33 points of law which are being appealed.  If the Plaintiffs are successful, then the lawsuit is final and cannot be further appealed.
